Is Randy Harrison getting typecast?

For the third time in his professional career, he’ll portray a visual artist.

In the first interview with actor Randy Harrison, originally published in Berkshire Fine Arts back in 2008, I was still a bit unsure of how to approach the actor who had made such a stir when he appeared in Showtime’s Queer as Folk. I decided to stick to the subjects I knew best, theatre. Turns out that was a rich vein which the actor and I have mined each summer ever since.

Samuel Beckett and “Endgame” are the source of never ending discussion and speculation among theatre-goers, dramatists and intellectuals. His works belong to the theatre of the absurd. But that doesn’t stop fanatics like me from trying to figure it all out. Adapted from a March 11, 2009 Berkshire Fine Arts article I wrote.
